Schmelke Game Room & Pool Cue Manufacturing is located in Haugen Wisconsin, just north of Rice Lake. They offer a full line of ready made pool sticks (cues), snooker and billiard cues, cases and accessories in their Outlet Store. They also craft custom pool, billiard and snooker cues (sticks) to the customers design and specifications. Schmelke Manufacturing has been in business for over sixty years. Today, Schmelke Cues sells both one and two-piece Billiard/Pool cues, cases and accessories throughout the United States, Japan, Europe and Canada. Schmelke now reside in a 15,000+ square foot building which houses a Game Room Outlet and custom pool cue building and pool cue repair departments. Schmelke Pool/Billiard Cues began with Duard and Richard Schmelke, brothers who enjoyed playing pool. They saw a need for custom quality pool cues in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and began making and repairing custom pool cues (sticks) in a small shop behind their home. In the late 1940's Duard decided to make two-piece billiard and pool cues on his own and remained a one-man operation until 1969. In 1969 his son, Jim Schmelke joined Schmelke Cues . A third generation craftsman joined in 1998, David Schmelke.
